Sha Tin experiences a subtropical climate with distinct seasonal variations. Winters are mild, with temperatures ranging from near-freezing in January to pleasant highs of 27°C by February and March. As spring approaches, temperatures gradually rise, peaking at 32°C in April and May. Summers bring sweltering heatwaves, with temperatures often soaring above 35°C, especially in June and July. Autumn sees a welcome respite from the summer heat, with temperatures cooling down to around 20-25°C by September and October, before dropping again into winter's chill.
